What is an Information Channel?

It is the medium through which anyone can confidentially report or inform about irregular acts or conduct in which they have participated directly or indirectly, or which have occurred at Hotel Madeira Centro and which may constitute a crime and/or a serious or very serious administrative infringement, or which involve or may involve a breach of the internal regulations. Please note that other types of requests, complaints, or claims cannot be made through this channel. Finally, please use this Whistleblowing Channel consciously and responsibly, avoiding abusive or bad-faith use. Therefore, it is important that you only transmit information that is reasonably truthful. Remember that Article 465.1 of the Penal Code establishes a prison sentence and/or a fine depending on the severity of the crime that was falsely attempted to be imputed.



How does it work?

  • At the end of this document, you will find a link and a QR code to access our platform.
  • If you wish, the report can be anonymous. In this way, when filling out the form, your email, phone number, or any other identifying data will not be recorded. It is carried out through a system that allows for absolute confidentiality.
  • All evidence, images, videos, or documents that support or prove the reported facts can be attached.
  • Accepted reports will be studied and investigated within a period of three months, extendable by another three months, by a Committee formed by internal staff who will conduct the corresponding investigation with the aim of clarifying the truthfulness or falsity of the report.
  • The Committee will ensure the protection of the rights of the whistleblower (protection against retaliation, confidentiality, and/or anonymity), the accused (right to defense, presumption of innocence, and honor), and personal data.


Channel objectives:

  • Detect illicit or irregular conduct.
  • Facilitate access to the channel for all our employees, stakeholders, and third parties in general.
  • Guarantee confidentiality and anonymity.
  • Adequately protect the whistleblower as a fundamental piece of the organization's compliance culture.
  • Reception and processing of reports regarding irregularities or non-compliance with regulations committed by employees and/or stakeholders.
  • Preserve reputation.
  • Generate trust with our stakeholders.
  • Improve internal processes.


Whistleblower guarantees:

  • The reports submitted can be anonymous (at the whistleblower's choice); therefore, it is not necessary to include the identity of the whistleblower, the department from which the report originates, or any information that allows for their identification.
  • The confidentiality of both the reported information and the identity of the whistleblower is guaranteed. Only the people who manage the channel will have access to the report, and only they will communicate with the whistleblower.
  • Absence of retaliation for good-faith whistleblowers.
  • The whistleblower may exercise their rights of access, rectification, opposition, deletion, limitation of processing, and portability.
  • There are also external information channels to which the whistleblower may turn if they consider it appropriate. Among others, you may go to the whistleblowing channel of the National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC), the SEPBLAC, the Independent Whistleblower Protection Authority, the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), and the Valencian Anti-Fraud Agency.
